Why am I so stubborn and skeptical? I do not know. Somehow I was hoping that other reviewers were wrong about the wrong size. It seemed impossible to me that GE would resize any of their products while keeping the same part number. and yet they did just that. Didn't even add "A" or "B" or a warning to the customer. To return the loan (and the supplier) the return was very easy. I found the right size filter at Home Depot, but it's not as good as the older FXUTC models I got from GE and ordered from Revain. Just further evidence of GE's post-Jack Welch collapse. I think they could be pioneers in 0 sigma production methods.
