Review on Enhanced ILIFE Shinebot W400s: Wet Scrubbing Mopping Robot with XL Water Tank for Efficient Floor Washing on Hard Surfaces by Katrina Dorsey

No basic functions (map/timetable/automatic docking); leaves too much soil unwashed.

I'm a big fan of iLife products. I have 3 of their robot vacuum cleaners (two work daily in my house and one in my apartment). I found their vacuum cleaners to be excellent (I've tried other brands too). Unfortunately, they completely overlooked the mop. I will send it back in a day. It lacks the basic functions of viewing, scheduling, and auto docking/reloading. I don't understand why iLife doesn't just use the functionality they've already developed for vacuum cleaners. It doesn't support Alexa, which always bothers me these days. But if it did its job well, I'd try to live without those features. So what's wrong? The device keeps stopping and requires a manual restart. Like every 5-10 minutes. So don't plan to do this before you get up in the morning or at night before bed. You have to be upstairs all the time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the cleaning robot? The biggest problem I have is that it leaves a large percentage of the area it covers completely unwashed (including dry streaks on the right). in the middle of a squeegee line). I tried both modes: area and path, but there was no visible improvement in coverage. I've been playing around with this thing for several hours, and I still haven't just washed the floor in the kitchen. I saw someone mention that it leaves puddles of water, which is what I experienced too. I'm not giving up on the idea of a Robomop, I'd love to mop every day. But they won't do that with the W400.
