I have no idea how I am measuring my opening wrong. It's a beautiful board! High quality. I was excited. I looked inside my opening and there are 2 tiny boards on each side of the opening, a tiny way back out of sight so that would also reduce the width too. They all seem to be a standard 3/4 inch tall so I have to find a 14" width I guess. This is very high quality, heavy wood with beautiful coloring / grain.UPDATE - YAY someone removed those inner wood pieces and NOW IT FITS PERFECTLY. I will take a photo.
