I have a 29 gallon aquarium that was full of snails. There are hundreds of different sizes. I treated the aquarium in the evening and after a few hours most of the snails were gone. I did a second treatment 48 hours later and almost everyone else was dead too. I'm not sure if this will 100% get rid of them all but I don't mind having a few in there. Many people object to this type of aquarium chemical, but it really works. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works and I'm very happy with it. It didn't harm my fish either. Some others here say their fish didn't do well but mine was fine. I have a community aquarium with a very simple setup and rich views. Don't use it if you have shrimp as they will die along with the snails.
