Having bought other GPS sunglasses that either didn't hold the top of my GPS or didn't block enough to stop reflections off the windshield, I bought these knowing that they didn't the case would be easy to assemble. This thing is flexible, softens and sags in the sun, covering the top of the screen. The elastic strap on the back opens the sides so it falls completely off the GPS. But it was a starting point to make my own to suit my specific needs. If you're not very handy and don't want this thing to work, don't waste your time buying it. Photo shows a steel rod, shaped to give the visor its shape, held together with industrial clips through the visor's plastic material. If you can zoom in you can see short "clips" that should hold the visor to the GPS, but the rubber strap on the back just pulls them from behind and they slide off the sides of the GPS.
