First of all I highly recommend them. For the price (low price) they look good! Many reviews contain an inaccurate picture. It may depend on your height, but this is a very fitted style. I'm about 5ft 11" and 210lbs with a small belly where I can wear large t-shirts and some of my old polo shirts (was between L and XL due to belly size variability). but back to Larges). I tried them in the large size first (because the reviews said they were big or true to size) and they were very small in the stomach and chest area. So I would say they are 1 size smaller - L fits like M and now that I've reordered XL, XL fits me like some of my larger shirts. Very comfortable, disregard any complaints about the "collar" - Most shirt collars aren't perfect. If you want perfection, don't buy $8 or $10 polo shirts at an affordable price. The collar on them is ok!
