Installed on 83 Suburban with Frankenstein 454 Build. And why don't the relays simply come with a splash-proof housing instead of bare wiring? It doesn't cost painless pennies and I'm happy to pay a few bucks more. The truck was very poorly built by the first owner. The previous owner tried to fix it but also screwed up. She installed the same wiring harness and it seemed to work, but she didn't read the instructions and didn't understand that you wanted the wires to be as short as possible. She also added a wire that was too small, which heated the wiring and melted the relay. The meaning of replace is correct. I had no problems. It's over 90 here in Missouri and this big truck has no problems with the heater.
