Original worked 1 time new, but not when I needed it when it was about 3 years old. When I bought these (a 4 pack), I put brand new Duracell batteries in them, checked to make sure they worked and put them in the house and cars. About 2 weeks ago, I needed the flashlight in my office and it did not work.There is no corrosion or failure of the batteries at all. I exchanged the battery pack with another unit and both packs worked fine, so it is not a battery problem. I reinstalled the batteries in the office unit and it still does not work. It has died sitting on my desk. That is not good service.UPDATE 1/15/19 - Customer service responded to my email and quickly sent me a replacement, which worked fine. Thanks for your support.
