This car roof rack worked great. We bought it for a second car and my daughter chose not to use it. But luckily left in the trunk for a trip from New Jersey to South Carolina. We had another similar trunk for our car. Well ours ripped down the last few miles in the very windy and rainy weather of our trip downhill and was unusable for our return. Luckily we had that as a backup. We drove as far as New Jersey without any problems, everything was dry, everything we brought with us was in good shape, a little bit more. We are very glad we made this purchase and know we will be using it again many times in the future.
