TL;DR Great for _ungrounded_ (skinny) SchuKo plugs. Ideal for charging mobile phones. Suitable for all flat plugs without falling out, round plugs do not fit. Devices that need to be grounded have thicker pins. This has two implications for countries with uniform pin gauges: 1) Grounded devices require adapters with thicker pin holes (SchuKo grounded plugs will not fit this adapter) 2) Ungrounded devices have thinner pins and will fit this adapter very snugly. Some other adapters try to solve the problem of (1) thicker pinholes at the expense of (2): thin plugs like cell phone chargers just fall out. I bought these adapters because they fit snugly into thin pin connectors.
