Metal tile from the factory!

The filter came with metal flakes on the base plate and O-ring. I don't like the idea of metal flakes getting into my engine's oil system. I will send it back and order another one. I will write another review when I have the 2nd filter. Update: The 2nd filter had no visible metal flakes. I ended up air quenching the first one until I felt good enough to install it on my truck.
