I would give this device a much higher rating, however I bought it at the end of October 2016 and about 4 months ago the screen became very light and almost impossible. read. It stopped receiving wireless signals tonight, rendering it virtually useless. As the screen got brighter and brighter I got busy with a few personal projects and by squinting and moving the device I could basically read what the screen was saying leaving me neither the time nor the energy to look for possible solutions to search. . Tonight was a game changer for me as I spent almost 2 hours on my wireless router checking connections, resetting passwords etc and found that my Almond was not registering any of my wireless networks. Almond was definitely amazing, but it only lasted a year before I started having serious problems. I understand that some of these connectors have short lifespans, but I can't afford a year and a few months for like $100 every year and a half. However, for the time it was in service, it was an excellent range extender.
