This is a HYDRAULIC TENSIONER pulley. WILL NOT FIT original MECHANICAL Idler Pulley installation. I can't tell if this tensioner worked well or not. I knew nothing about the two different tensioner assemblies. Meh, my fault I guess. Maybe Amazon needs to update the name to show it's a hydraulic tensioner and not a mechanical one. I had mechanical stress. The part itself looks great, the feel is also pleasant. The bearing makes a very durable impression. IF you have a HYDRAULIC tensioner it will fit. Be careful when removing the 8mm hex screw as you will need to reuse it. The mechanical tensioner is harder to find. But they are, mostly on ebay because Amazon doesn't sell them because of the quick search. You may need to purchase a conversion kit to convert from a mechanical tensioner to a hydraulic tensioner.
