So I'm pretty picky when it comes to kitchen gadgets. They have to be functional, easy to use and look beautiful in my kitchen. This electric spice grinder does all three. It grinds spices instantly, and reusable spice pods make cleaning easy. It's elegant and beautiful and clearly well made. I cook with a lot of spices, and years of experience tell me that it's always better to grind whole spices than to buy them pre-ground, as they lose a lot of flavor when they're on the shelves already ground. But I've always struggled with other spice grinder options and have never found anything as versatile as this one. Cross contamination between different spices has always seemed a problem to me. This problem was solved with handy little spice capsules. I can now grind spices for an appetizer, main course and dessert without the dessert dish getting a hint of another dish. I just love the ability to use individual spice pods to grind different spices without stopping the brewing process to thoroughly clean the entire grinder. This product is excellent and really ups my game in the kitchen. I don't know what I would do without him!
