I'm not sure if this was explained in the product description but I didn't realize it when I bought it. I wanted something to put rolls on the couch. Below is a bed frame that slides under the top double bed mattress which can be used as seating like a sofa. Then unfold the bed at the bottom, lift it up and it doubles the size of a single bed or it can be used separately from that part so you have two single beds. I wanted them to protect the wooden floor but they should prevent the bed from rolling away or whatever you put in it, whatever wheels you put in to stop the unit from rolling. I did not want. I wanted something that would slide and still hold the wheels so the wheels wouldn't roll on the floor. Again, I don't take the time to go back to the product description to find out if it was my fault or if the product description didn't give a clear answer when I ordered it. I have some carpeted wooden cups, I have two sets of four in which I have two caster office chairs with cup casters. Made to casters like an office chair, these cops glide effortlessly across the floor without the chair wobbling or bouncing around while you sit in it. I checked before ordering that these cup sliders are too small to hold the more rectangular caster wheels on the couch frame. I have yet to find a product that will hold the rectangular-aligned caster wheels to the couch, which allows the couch to slide across the hardwood floor when you pull it out and slide it back under the couch frame and under the top mattress, which also doubles as a sofa seat.
