the magnet does not stick to the phone when the sun is in the sun

my air vents are high above the dashboard the phone is high when the sun hits the phone the heat activates the adhesive on the magnetic pad after a few weeks the magnetic pad detaches itself from the phone, making the device unusable. Is there a way to attach the magnetic pad to the phone? gratitude
