Came in a plastic bag. So you were afraid. Shoes are good and light. I would not use them for running or training. The soles are not too thick and have few threads. I'm not sure how they will perform when wet. I bought these shoes for everyday use only, not for running or training. After trying them on. It's confirmed. Do not buy for running/training. I wouldn't even use them for running. All I needed was casual white shoes that would go with almost anything for casual evenings. So, I have a 9.5, the ones I bought were 10's because now the 10's are a bit more comfortable. Fit like 9.5s. So I recommend going 1/2 size bigger.
