Cannot be used with Echo Dot, phone chargers, table lamps!

ATTENTION! If you try to plug in a simple two-pronged plug, such as B. a table lamp, this does not work. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but half a dozen friends and family tried and failed. To clarify the problem, the extension cord plugs into the outlet with no problem. The devices you intend to use will not fit in the band unless they have a grounded three-prong plug. My echo points, phone chargers, and bedside lamps won't connect to it. Because I bought two of these for those exact items, I wasted my money, effort, and time.
