DO NOT BUY THIS FOR TURTLES AND EXPECT TO USE THE GRASS TOP. My turtles ate grassy plastic lid! My poor turtles had plastic grass in their poop for months after I removed the top layer and replaced it with bath mat material. Because they ate it and passed it, the weed clogged my filter and ruined it. The platform with the now turtle proof top bath mat holds all three of my big babies at the same time. (They are very fond of sunbathing, although there are many other swimming spots). From time to time it sinks below the water level, but three turtles are perched on it at all times.
