2020. I used it to drill out a high security padlock. I cycled it on and off for about 10-15 minutes, used a Makita drill bit, removed the metal inside the lock, pausing to blow out debris, then used a screwdriver and burred again. After about 10-15 minutes (I didn't measure it) the carbide head came loose from the shank. It looks glued on. Yes, it got hot when I was grating, but I make it all the time with other potatoes that don't separate when heated. It's definitely not worth buying if it falls apart on first use.
