I don't know if my piggies are unusual, but I have had a terrible time finding stuff they will actually chew on. I've tried many of the apple sticks, wood toys, willow balls and hanging chew toys, but they have little interest in any of those. I now have a box of "toys" they just ignored. These they go nuts over! I have to put two at a time in since they fight over it if I only put one in. They will chew on these until they are gone, and that is usually only about a day. I have had to reorder these a few times now, but at least they have something they will chew.
