As an independent physician at first you need to go through training sessions but once it is done its great for billing purposes as well. It has all my records along with patient information in one place which helps me save precious time during visits especially when I am required by law (e-prescribing)to use specific programs like electronic prescribing or CPT coding etc.. Also having access from anywhere makes this software more convenient than physical files kept away somewhere else where no internet connection exists etc.
