Not a good first impression. But I'm happy with the replacement.

This is an addendum to my original review. After receiving the replacement frying pan, I examined it very carefully for any damage or defects and did not notice any at first. However, I can find flaws in anything I look at closely. Eventually I found one, but this small defect didn't bother me like the pothole on the first one I got. There was a small "notch" on the edge of the non-stick coating on the outer rim of the pan. (see attached photos) Let's get rid of what I didn't like. Lid. I was cooking on low heat and burned myself removing the lid. Another pen would be nice. One who can't stand the heat, like this one. There is also a pocket between the glass and the rim for the liquid to enter. It's a real pain trying to keep it clean and dry. Okay, now for the good stuff, which I really liked. In my testing, I tried both an induction cooktop and a gas cooktop for experimentation. I checked heat distribution, discoloration, smoothness, flatness, and general cooking properties. At first I just wanted to break the pot in, heat it up and see how well the water boils on induction. Cooked pretty quickly. About 4 minutes from the tap to cook at 320 degrees. The simmer was fairly even and spread fairly well to the outer portions of the medium-priced pan's surface. No discoloration that I could see. Of course, I didn't apply too much heat. I rinsed the pan and wiped it dry. Clean and dry in a few wipes and seconds. Good. Then I made meat tacos. Check out the video I've added showing the low flame and heat dissipation. I like it. The frying pan turned out to be good, the meat burned or did not burn. Transferring food from the pot to the container is no easy task. Everything slips to the edge and wants out at the same time. So I needed a very wide container and he still wanted to tip everything onto the counter. I think the sides can be a bit steep in my opinion. After that I rinsed, dried and zipped, trimmed and cooked the chorizo and yuevo again. The meat was well prepared as was the ground beef. Nice and low, even warm. I then put it in a spare pan to wipe down the inside and cook 8 scrambled eggs. At this point, it's no surprise that the eggs are shaken well for such a large batch at a time. I mixed the chorizo and then transferred it to a container. Yes, again, the food did spill onto the counter because I didn't have much control over how it poured out of the pan. I then dunked the mostly cooled pot in a sink of dishwater, wiped with a sponge, quickly rinsed, and dried quickly. All in all a good dining experience. For me, the frying pan is a keeper until it later fails, loses its surface or deforms the bottom. The bottom of the pan is slightly discolored from the gas stove but I expected that and I scratched the grate of the stove a bit but that's to be expected too. If you're willing to expect a pan to arrive with a few stains or even without being "perfect" then I'd say this pan otherwise performs well. Spots, Cover and Fill lose the star. Otherwise I'm happy with it so far. First review. What I expected was a really good frying pan, new quality and in like-new condition. I was looking forward to this but was quickly disappointed with what I saw when I took it out of the box. Check out the attached photos. There was a very noticeable stain on the base that I noticed almost immediately. Looking closer, I saw that it was some kind of pause. If you look closely at the enlarged photo you can also see many other scratches around the notch as if it was mishandled before packaging. The box it came in was completely undamaged. The only thing that could be different would be if it was produced that way. I can't even try to give an honest idea of what it's like to cook in it. . I felt a nick and it's pretty obvious it will scratch the surface of the hob I'm going to place it on. The base also feels pretty rough, apart from that notch. I was expecting it to feel as smooth as satin as advertised. If the pan is already damaged before I can even try, what's the point in even going forward to see how it performs? this pan? I will spend a week contacting the manufacturer about this issue and see what they have to say before I repackage and send it back. I'm not sure if I want to exchange it. Quality issues can be permanent with this brand. I hope you respond to my attempt to contact you. I'm sorry I had to see it that way. I was really hoping I would like this pan. But it is what it is and now I have to do something damn it.
