Review on FGen Fingertip Skateboard Bearing - Enhanced for Dedicated Performance by Mark Greenwood

Stay away - terrible quality

One of the worst 608 bearings I've seen. Bought the 100 pack on a whim as a cheaper option than my usual source and couldn't regret it anymore. When I opened the package, the bearings themselves were covered in a thin and very sticky substance. This is definitely not a regular lube to use in this application, it was more like glue than anything. The bearing may stick to your hand if placed on a sticky substance. First warning sign. Also, it couldn't spin freely when I started testing them. The goo prevented any possibility of these things spinning freely, and only by manually getting them to spin while holding the inner and outer walls was I able to get them to spin. By the way, when I was removing it, I discovered that the bearings inside were not lubricated. I took some degreaser and cleaner and scrubbed a few things, then applied silicone grease after it dried. Now they can spin, but there are also issues with the bearings as you can feel them constantly dragging and getting stuck in the rail. Very noticeable bearing chatter, VERY noisy rotation due to poor tolerances and workmanship. Stay away from it, assuming it's a marriage to other brands' resold product lines.

Pros
  • Ball bearing
Cons
  • Expensive
