Review on IntelliFeed Aquarium Fish Feeder by Janet Edwards

I read online reviews before purchasing the unit so I made the purchase assuming I would get an effective fish feeding solution in my absence. I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to write this based on my experience - this device does NOT work. I tested the device after 4 days of absence. The first automatic spin is fine as long as you manually shake the fish feed towards the feed outlet chamber to fill it with feed. Once this happens, the chamber as arranged will not be sufficiently filled with food. After returning from a trip, I tested the device on a paper plate for 3 days, emptying the plate each time to see how much food was actually being released. The crowd was sparse at best for all feedings after the first. (If a person is gone for a few days, there is no one to "shake" the container to keep the food from spilling out into the feed chamber.) I would not recommend this feeder at all.
