Accuracy of fit. My wife bought the medium sized Bern Watts and they fit me perfectly with the open attitude. I tested Bern Macon in Medium and it fits perfectly. After ordering this Allston in medium, it was too tight. Came back for more and with 30% on the slider it fits great. This might be a plus as I now have room for a balaclava for cold riding. Oddly enough, it says the visor can be removed, but it's integrated into the padding/adjustable rim bar. The helmet does not include no visor tape. There should be an additional option. I had a chance to test the MIP version of this Allston and it's even smaller. The weight of the helmet is also lighter than the Watts as I don't know it's a completely different design. Watts is a robust outer shell with separate padding, similar to a motorcycle helmet. The Allston is similar to a traditional bike helmet. Molded in one piece. Both have a very hard surface, do not bend. Both feel well made.
