Entered service in mid-January, four inches above the grille. The light didn't work in mid-May. Lightbulb changed, when switched on both lightbulbs burst. After properly removing that, I found that the wiring inside the connector was burned. It looked like he was 10 years old. The cable jacket indicates that it is 2 wires with a diameter of 0.75 mm, which corresponds to 20GA AWG. When I pulled out the wiring they used 0.5mm wire. Like 22ga AWG. The description states that it is rated at around 250 watts. I'm not an electrician, but from what I could find on the internet, no more than 65 watts can be passed through such a thin cable. Unfortunately I ordered two more of these lamps and the rear window is closed. Now I have to solder them all. The last photo shows the wire from this light fixture next to the 18AWG wire (the standard wire used for lamp sockets in the US) that I used to rewire the light fixture.
