What me didn't like was the way it was put together. The two curved protrusions that connect the bottom and top plastic parts of the switch are very small and thin. If you press too hard to turn off the switch, the contacts will be bent and eventually the assembly will fall apart. The switch I replaced on my Golf fell apart so I installed it. The new switch did the same. Therefore, if the derailleur's travel was limited by a black knob or hard stop to avoid any stress on the bottom bracket, I didn't give it a very high rating. The rest of the switch works perfectly.
