Okay, anyone who knows me knows I don't write many reviews. And I certainly don't write positive reviews unless I believe in the product itself. But let's start. Over the past 15 years, I've tried about seven different models of stovetop coffee makers. I have to admit that price was a factor and I tried to make it as cheap as possible. If possible, less than $50. And basically I've always gotten a version of the standard model coffee maker with a multi-faceted fluted base, just maybe with a slightly different handle design, but otherwise basically the same. Anyone reading this knows exactly what I mean. And trust me when I say none of these purchases have ever received positive feedback from me. So far. Admittedly, I only received it a few days ago, so I haven't brewed 100 pots with it yet, just a few. But it should be proof of how it looks and feels compared to all the bad buys I've made over the years: if I have less than 4 days I might come here and give a positive review. Review, should really mean something to the people reading this. There's nothing more to say, but for the more curious I'll add the following: just note the coffee strainer: on this model it weighs three times more than the coffee strainer. on cheaper models. The same goes for the rest of the device. Very well made, strong as an ox, runs like the wind and has a great design. This is the goalkeeper.
