Does not scald or scald. Not worth a penny!

The instructions clearly say to cook on low. I brew on low for 30 minutes, no coffee. I decide it must be too low and set it to medium, nothing. Maybe cook? No, there is no coffee yet. So I crank it up to the max, ta-da! Coffee! Ahhh, now it's on fire. Frustrated, I try again because obviously I'm doing something wrong, right? No, there is no kvass or burnt kvass yet. This pot doesn't cost a penny, don't waste your money! Unfortunately I foolishly didn't keep the box it came in as it had such…

Excellent quality mocha pot

I am glad that I was able to find a good quality mocha pot. It was exactly what I was looking for. The build quality is excellent even though the handle is spot welded. Very easy to use once you find the grind size you want. It took some testing, but luckily I bought a Baratza Encore grinder when I bought this so I could adjust the grind size. (I prefer #19). I only have trouble with cleaning it. A rubber/silicone gasket (not sure what it is, but it's a clear color) that holds the top filter in

Has some flaws good for kitchen and dining room

I really wanted to love it. I thought it would be quality based on the name and price, but unfortunately there are drawbacks. I'll start with the advantages: 1. Easy assembly 2. That's enough for my 2 cups of coffee in the morning. Now for the cons: 1. Difficult to clean 2. The hinge on the lid is very weak and broke within the first 5 uses.3. The upper part, where the brewed coffee is, does not keep it warm. It's not offensive so the second was cold by the time I finished my first cup.4…

Great buy, worth every penny!

Great pot! I have a small center burner on my gas range; Heating on the smallest possible flame is key. Don't go because it lasts a few minutes on the lowest setting and the sound it makes as the liquid rises is very quiet and I suppose it's no good for a kettle or coffee flavor overheating unnecessarily; There's no problem with the handle getting a little warm when heat touches your handle, just use too much heat; I'm just looking down to see if it's done. Be sure to order the 3 pad with…

Very happy with this stainless steel coffee pot

I have never used a coffee pot but bought it to make espresso to make Starbucks style lattes at home. I'm very happy with it and it's really easy to clean. I chose stainless steel because I heard about cooking with aluminum. It was a bit of a shame because I find the aluminum ones much nicer, but this one is downright attractive. Based on the recommendations I found on the coffee subreddit, I heat the water to 200 degrees before pouring it into the tank. . Being stainless steel, it heats up…

It's a keeper! best in coffee, tea and espresso

Okay, anyone who knows me knows I don't write many reviews. And I certainly don't write positive reviews unless I believe in the product itself. But let's start. Over the past 15 years, I've tried about seven different models of stovetop coffee makers. I have to admit that price was a factor and I tried to make it as cheap as possible. If possible, less than $50. And basically I've always gotten a version of the standard model coffee maker with a multi-faceted fluted base, just maybe with a…
