Review on 40 1SS CL Precision Stainless Connecting by Maxwell Thomas

CHEAP CHINESE TRASH! I have a custom bike with a #40 chain because it's very strong, but that cheap Chinese crap almost killed me. It's incredibly cheaply made and doesn't meet the safety standards of a #40 chain, which requires several hundred pounds of force, when this link can handle maybe 20 pounds of force if that's the case. I had it on the rear sprocket off the transmission. I was riding my motorcycle when the master link exploded, throwing me and my chain off the motorcycle. Looking around to see what had happened, I found that the clip for the Masterlink was so flimsy that it just bent and fell off. I have compared this master link to another on the front of my bike and it is incredibly cheaply made as the clip on this piece of junk is 3mm thinner than the actual #40 master link clip which is supposed to be secure. For reference, Masterlink #40 is about a cent thick, and this one is about the thickness of a piece of paper.
