Review on πŸ”˜ Recoil Waterproof Bluetooth Media Button: Steering Wheel Remote Control for iPhone 11, X/XS/XR, iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus/S10 by John Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I really wish I liked it but the range is terrible

I'm sure it's great bike or arm but don't bother moving more than 5ft because it won't work properly. I take my Bluetooth speaker to the shower thinking it's better to take the remote with me so I can play music or skip a track forward or backward rather than reach into the shower or piss my 10+ grade. The Note 10 uses the latest in Bluetooth technology, so I'm stunned to see the range go downright crazy and just stop working well after about 8 feet or so. Now I'm sure it will continue in the open field with no power or electronics but sometimes I leave my phone in my room or charge it and it just won't connect or when it does it will be sporadic and when You press the volume button as soon as he cranks the volume up to max not only annoy your neighbors but also damage your speaker battery. Even when shutting down. It doesn't tell you. It just turns off and you sit and press it, wondering what happened. The buttons are hard to see and the mounting options aren't great. The plastic clip that holds it is very tight. So when you want to install it, detach it from the clip. Much luck. You will need a mini screwdriver to pry it out. So you need to use a rubber band. Again, this thing is great on a bike if you can see the knobs, but that's about it.

Pros
  • WIRELESS BLUETOOTH - Easily connect the BT Media Button to a Bluetooth enabled device for easy access to your media apps up to 40ft away
Cons
  • Smaller ones Problems
