Love the chair! My knees and shins feel better already. Just finished assembling it. Using to replace an old Balans swivel desk chair that (maybe due to age, maybe due to a minor fall during a backcountry search and rescue operation a few days ago) now really makes my left knee uncomfortable. And it bent my knees too much. And made my shins hurt. This new chair is already obviously much more comfortable and very adjustable. But the instructions – ah, the instructions. I told my daughter I would start watching Thor:Ragnarok with her at dinner only after I have written this review while the anger burns hot in my heart. I would rather have had instructions written by an IKEA engineer. In Swedish. At least the diagrams would be more useful. #1: if you want to tell us to take the screws K out of the threaded posts H and I, DON'T put it on the back of the instructions. REWRITE the instructions. And TELL people you will have parts left over. And make the diagrams BIGGER with thicker lines. And SEPARATE the adjustment instructions from assembly instructions. OK, I feel better now, heading downstairs to have dinner and watch Thor:Ragnarok. Addendum two weeks later: still very happy with the chair, much more comfy that my old Balans swivel chair. I can move into slightly different positions even without adjusting, and adjust as needed. The only new problem I have noticed is that the upholstery is impermeable. So after sitting on it for a long time my butt is sweaty. And it's winter and I worry about the summer. The impermeable is both good and bad. I'm going to take the seat cushion to a nearby upholstery place and see if I can get them to put some additional breathable upholstery on TOP of the existing impermeable layer.
