I've had no trouble cooking delicious and juicy turkeys, but for some reason I've always found cooking a whole chicken intimidating. I don't know why, but with this little gadget anyone can cook a juicy, crispy chicken that rivals June Cleaver. For convenience, the first time I filled the tea infuser with cheap Miller Lite beer and coated the inside and outside of a 4 lb bird with oil and spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano to taste) and then placed Pour the entire setup into a large casserole dish and fill the dish with root vegetables and cauliflower. I also rubbed excess oil and spices onto the veggies. I put it in the oven for 2 hours at 375 and it was delicious! My husband and I ate everything! I plan on mixing infusion liquid and spices, but it was so good I plan on making this version again first!
