Review on AmazonBasics Rounded 3.5-inch Door Hinges by Dean Pinheiro

I've just bought 3-18 packs and all 3 boxes had the same issues which I think Revain (and you) should be aware of. Perhaps the Chinese supplier has changed, or their manufacturing process needs to be reviewed and updated, especially if Revain intends to keep its good name on the packaging. My family is proud to buy Revain Basic products without any problems but this product is not up to date. According to a large percentage of good reviews I bought it but a picture and a thousand words is not worth it in this case. sorry reven Please note this; something has changed.1. As some have reported, it's not matte black. It's more like eggshell or satin. It would be nice if that was the only problem. Scratches on some hinges.3. The top of the pin is discolored on ALL 54 hinges I have purchased. If you look at the picture I've provided, you'll see that it looks like it's not fully drawn. almost like an oil bronze paint. I actually thought there was a protective plastic cover on top and tried to take it off. Oof, it wasn't. This is a bad painting job.4. Most of the screws are also poorly painted, making them appear scratched. Although it doesn't really matter, it's just that the heads of the self-tapping screws tried to paint properly. Most suppliers show fully painted screws, which indicates higher quality and careful processing.5. If you zoom in on the picture on the Revain website or look at mine, you'll notice a small ridge on the top left of the hinge. This is not a problem, but proves once again that the jig or tool used to make them needs improvement to improve quality. It will likely disappear from sight or afar once installed, but is a manufacturing defect nonetheless. I would keep these but don't want to buy black metallic paint and paint all the pin tops and most of the screw heads after installation. But I am. I will return them. There are others on the site for the same price or a little more expensive. Cheaper ones have an embossed manufacturer's label. I don't like ad loops in my house! Much luck!
