We received the rug and immediately felt how thick and plush it was. The brown border/accent line is more visible than in the picture, but the coloring in the picture is mostly correct. Did the husband somehow fall / fell / knocked for 2 days use? a bunch of huge embers all over the carpet. It was smoking and smoldering, but we took the carpet outside and dumped the coals on the snow. The carpet had many large black burn marks but never caught fire. We put it back in and I noticed that the black spots could be rubbed off and are now light brown. It's damaged, of course, but not so bad that I have yet to replace it. After all, it was badly battered and now looks well used, but not destroyed. My sex is intact, and that's not the point?!
