Review on 🔧 ARES 70198 - Low Profile Impact Socket Adapter Set - Impact-Rated Heat-Treated Chrome Vanadium Steel with Knurled Surface for Improved Grip by James Townsend

I have to say I'm not a big fan of manganese phosphate coatings because they don't offer adequate protection against rust in wet environments, plus they just don't feel good on. Now that I've got that out of the way, I really like the low profile of these adapters. While I may never use them on my impact wrench, they're still very useful for hand ratchets. This set is approximately 33% shorter than my chrome adapters, making it much easier to get into those hard-to-reach places. I also like the knurling which makes it easier to grab the adapter for removal and is useful for freely rotating fasteners before tightening or after loosening. It would be nice if they were made in the US, but at least they're made in Taiwan and not China. Regardless of the tool, I would like to thank Ares for being an ASPCA Business Ambassador, which means a lot to me.
