Update: a few months later. As well as after removal. It's still on my Win 10 system and restarted my PC twice for no reason. Windows says your program threw up an error that caused the reboot. I had to use a special "uninstaller" to remove all items. I hope there won't be any sudden reboots. Wanted to connect my Win10 PC to the speaker I have. The wireless speaker works with my phone, I want the ease of use of a PC that I use a lot. First, there are files on the mini-disk from 2014, I tried to connect the adapter (Win10 with updates), waited, nothing. Tried CD files, nothing. No icon that should have appeared, the USB indicator lit up. I removed those files and installed the 2018 files from the website, a whopping 408 megabytes. Still, I saw a USB PC, but I didn't find any floppy drives. Tried to run driver from exe, nothing. I contacted the company, they claim you can just plug it into a Win10 machine. Tried on HP Win10 laptop. The hard drive went offline for a minute and a half, but the laptop still saw the USB but gave "driver error". Give up.
