Review on πŸš› Power Stop KC2324-36 Z36 Truck & Tow Front Caliper Kit - Enhanced Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors, Advanced Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads, Calipers by Mike Pettigrew

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unfortunately the brake pads did not fit and after a few months rust appeared.

Ordered all in one kind of deal for convenience and needed to get super brakes that really fit my Toyota Tundra 2002 2wd 4.7L V8 SR5. The rotors appear to be normal. Not sure if that's related or not as I'm not a mechanic, but they might be a little snug. Also, they hold up great with my $51 O'Reilly brake pads. I contacted Amazon and they happily and effortlessly discounted my $55 purchase. I'm sure if you buy Power Stop calipers the pads will fit, but my truck still needs to work on the aesthetics before I consider fancy calipers. Shiny rotors free of rust and dust, and that's enough for me. I drove a few hundred miles through the hills of Southern California with a sofa in the back of a truck, and so far so good. Ignore what the manufacturer claims is a coating to prevent rust and corrosion. See the image provided. Definitely not worth bothering with pads that don't fit as advertised and rust protection.

Pros
  • good stuff
