Purchased this in the queen size olive green. It's large enough for the bed but planned on using for the couch. There is a light sheen to the plush side and it is a pretty blanket. As stated one side is a lightweight plush material with a faux sherpa on the other. The sherpa is slightly bonded, meaning it is sewn down along the border of the blanket. It isn't bonded throughout the rest of the blanket. This is probably why the blanket isn't that warm. It's ok as a throw but not as your main blanket. It's too thin. This was originally going to be used as my main blanket for sleeping on the couch. Back to my old comforter, unfortunately. For the price I was hoping for something thicker and most the reviews said it was a warm blanket. Subjective opinion on what makes a blanket warm; however, it is soft and came packaged well. I will keep the blanket because it's a pain to return items. If you are looking for a lightweight throw to grab on the couch, this is for you. If, like me, you were looking for a thicker, warmer blanket I might pass on this.
