Review on πŸ”§ Klein Tools D2000-9ST Heavy-Duty 9-Inch Ironworker Pliers: Ideal for Rebar, ACSR, Screws, Nails, and Hardened Wire by Jeremy Stephens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why metallurgy tongs are the best linesman tongs.

These are hardened pliers with a large head. What makes them metal pliers is the slap on the handle and the more aggressive knurling on the jaws. They also have a spring in the grip, although some pliers don't have a spring - it's a matter of user preference. But for me they are great pliers. The head is the same as every linesman from Klein, just slightly more aggressive jaws. If you don't need a fish tape puller or crimping tool, this is the best pair of pliers because of the spring. You could call me a hack but I love the springs in my tongs and these fit the bill perfectly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
