Although I had never used a router and never been taught how to use one, I was pleased with this kit. I used it to cut a mortise and tenon in a pine cabinet door and they turned out good. The only issues I had were due to user error and inexperience, even though the manufacturer should specify the bitrate. My suggestion for beginners like me is to attach a cutting board to the end of your cut so you don't tear the edge. I don't think it's a problem with the blade, but with the routing in general. I really wish I had attended more master classes!
