Review on 🎨 High-Quality Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink in 2.5-Ounce Size, Ideal for Crafts, in the Color Black by Carol Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not suitable for large-area woodcuts. Dries forever.

I have a fabric with a lot of medium. I decided to use this for a recent project because I needed something that gives crisp lines without heat setting. Like our blocks have wide stars and arrows. I don't think it worked well with wooden blocks. He's very sticky. If you roll it over the stamp as if you were using acrylic it will look faded. If you apply enough to get a dark print, it leaves spikes/waves in broader areas of the print. If the blocks were a thin line I think that would be fine. Plus, it sticks to everything so well you don't realize it's on your hand until it's too late. It is written that it dries quickly, but after 72 hours it was still sticky. I emailed speedball customer service but they kept telling me it dries out overnight and never responded to my reply as to why it was sticky 72 hours later. Let's return to much cheaper options that give better results. Installing heat just got easier. It is written that it dries quickly, but after 72 hours it was still sticky. Pros
  • NO CURING REQUIRED. This ink does not require heat setting for permanent results! Just let the ink dry overnight and it will be dry to the touch in the morning. Wait at least a week before washing.
Cons
  • Obsolete
