How will you "customize " it?!
I have this to take the speaker output level from the Christmas lights and drop it to line level for FM transmission. Levels could not be set correctly. They would spin in one direction and the levels would go everywhere. Then turn the other way and only make things worse. I'm not sure if it's because I split the mono signal or something. It seems normal, but YMMV.
