Review on Kikkerland KT18 Penguin Kitchen Timer by Alma Carter

It does not ring and "does not go off", the buzzer does not work. Also, by trying to get it to work and spinning the dial, I can tell that it would be a very quick (too brief and too soft) noise when it "ringed" on its own, which as a timer in could be used in the kitchen. or for children. Even if it had worked, it probably wouldn't have been heard. I just got it and installed it a few times and it remains perfectly silent when it hits 0 even though the ticking has stopped. Apparently the countdown has ended, but no sound, no ringing, no buzzing. Malfunction. I would avoid this and order a different type of timer. It's a shame because it's adorable.
