I read a lot of reviews before buying. People should pay attention to the temperature of the oil. I warmed up my car to normal temperature and let it cool down for 50 minutes to a temperature where I can touch the engine and not burn myself. Draining the engine oil took less than 10 minutes, only 7.2 QT (5W30, on the Audi A6). It was a clean job with no problems. Changing engine oil is such a simple pump job! I am very happy. The bottom line is don't run the pump on thick/cold oil. This will kill the pump. Monitor the temperature of the pump and allow it to cool if necessary. I didn't have to do this. Highly recommended.
