Highly machined finish with nice soft teeth

As a portrait painter I prefer to work with this paper. In my work I use Prismacolor and Caran D'Arche Pablo pencils and mix them with Gamsol unscented white spirit. Stonehenge paper has a beautiful soft serration, making it an ideal work surface. The back of the paper has a slightly smoother surface if needed. The paper holds several layers of pencils well and does not warp when cleaned with mineral spirits. I am uploading an 11 x 14 Stonehenge pencil portrait by Prismacolor to give you an idea of the rich color and fine detail you can achieve with this paper.
