The product was fairly easy to install and worked great for several months. I installed this in the back of my truck near the back door. I could just open the gate, put my hand on the edge of the bed and press the button. This button connects to some LED pucks I installed under my bed rail. The switch wiring runs behind the rear wheel in a recess between the outside of the truck and the body wall. Water enters this space and the like. That's why I bought a waterproof switch. I made sure the connection was strong and complete. Unfortunately the switch stopped working in December. Haven't been there in a very long time. I have power on the port, but the button backlight is not working and the LEDs are no longer lit. Damn. I will have to find another product.
