I have a very sweet parrot who ALWAYS wants to be with us. He's only silent when he's with someone. So I wanted a halter for him so he could hang outside on a good day while we go for a walk. Received in the mail today, watched the video on how to put it on (it looks very difficult until you watch the video). He screamed and bit while I put it on (just like the bird in the video lol) but once it was on it was fine. I let him run around in it and run around the house a bit, then took him outside tied on a leash. He was perfectly content, just hung on my shoulder for a while and then dared to climb into the hammock next to me. That works great. His wings are clipped, but he wasn't trying to take off, so I can't comment on how well that works in flight. I wanted him to keep it in case he flies and it looks like it will work. So far I'm a happy tourist and he's a happy bird.
