Great for Toy Quakers

This is a great little charm, but they CAN gnaw through the material. My Quaker came out when we were on holiday and still had his harness on - we got him back 24 hours later but he was chewing on his harness (which was the best part). But if you have gum, it won't last long.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Little Things

It's funny that the bird wants it!

I got this for my daughter Cocateil who doesn't want us clipping her wings and we had a couple of tight calls when it almost flew out the door and that firmness works perfectly. At first you think it will hurt you, but it doesn't, after a while you get used to it, now the bird is sleeping with you!

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Reliability

Poor quality for birds

This harness is poorly finished. Very bad materials. I had to place some heatsinks in places that connect because the rubber is very, very bad. Practically falls apart. My bird hated putting it on and struggled, but I'm sure it will get better after a few tries. But for this quality, the price should be significantly lower.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Depends on the bird

The harness is good - easy to adjust and quite strong. It all depends on your bird, of course. If your bird is active, putting on a harness can be a problem. Of course our bird didn't want to put it on and when we finally did he kept pecking at it and eventually moved the front strap a bit but that didn't loosen the straps. I hope our bird can get used to it and we can take it out without fear that it will fly away.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Problems

Perfect fit for my parrot!

I have a very sweet parrot who ALWAYS wants to be with us. He's only silent when he's with someone. So I wanted a halter for him so he could hang outside on a good day while we go for a walk. Received in the mail today, watched the video on how to put it on (it looks very difficult until you watch the video). He screamed and bit while I put it on (just like the bird in the video lol) but once it was on it was fine. I let him run around in it and run around the house a bit, then took him outside

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
